Within the framework of informational campaign launched by Fund "Sukhumi” with the purpose of promotion of gender equality on December 22nd there was transmitted a broadcast. Respondents – representatives of non-governmental sector, local self-government, journalists – discussed the situation in the country from the gender perspective. On December 21th radio listeners had possibility to listen to the regular broadcast of Fund "Sukhumi” on the topic of violence. Respondents had different opinions on the topic of violence. Lawyers talked about the Law and negative sides its realization. In their opinion there was no financial provision after adoption of the Law, so factually it does not work well. Radiobroadcast was transmitted on the air of the radio company "Radio Adjara” within the framework of the campaign aimed at promotion of gender equality. The topic of the broadcast was gender violence which vector is basically directed at women. The broadcast covers the Round table held in Batumi city within the framework of the information campaign of Fund "Sukhumi”. Lawyers, teachers, doctors, journalists, psychologist and representatives of NGOs discussed the problem of gender violence. The conversation touched upon researches carried out in Adjara which show topicality of the problem. |
