Radiobroadcast on the air of radio “Dzveli kalaki”

Within the framework of informational campaign launched by Fund "Sukhumi” with the purpose of promotion of gender equality on December 22nd there was transmitted a broadcast. Respondents – representatives of non-governmental sector, local self-government, journalists – discussed the situation in the country from the gender perspective. According to the common opinion gender equality is more declared rather than realized, since the main is not the number of women in different structures, but how they fulfill this role, how far they are able to participate in decision making. The broadcast also covers the presentation of a manual "Phenomenon of women’s leadership” issued by Fund "Sukhumi”. Listeners were provided with the information about the workshops conducted according to the module made up based on the manual. The workshops were held for members of the Club of Women-Voters and representatives of the local self-government in different cities of Western Georgia (Batumi, Kutaisi, Khobi, Khoni, Poti).
