Cultural-Humanitarian Fund "Sukhumi”

Ecumenical Network for Youth Action (ENYA) conducted the first phase of its two year-program in Tbilisi, where participated the representative of Fund “Sukhumi” – Miranda Gvantseladze.

The topic of the seminar – “Overcoming Violence Against Women”.

The representatives of non-governmental organizations were invited at the seminar from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Macedonia, Moldova, Hungary, Serbia, Ukraine, Germany.

The participants discussed different forms of violence, as well as reasons of domestic violence.

The interesting part of the seminar was exchange of information between the participants about the specific legislations on violence of all countries, and discussion around the positive and negative sides of these laws.

One day of the seminar was dedicated to the presentations of the representatives of each country about the situation of violence against women.

It is worth mentioning, that the participants continue cooperation and soon they will be given opportunity to participate in mini-grants competition and execute their own projects.
