Training with the participation of women-members of local self-government	01:13
In the training participated 24 women-members of local self- government of different cities of Western Georgia: Zestafoni, Khobi, Bagdadi, Senaki, Ozurgeti, Lanchkhuti, Abasha, Kutaisi, Poti, Kobuleti. During the seminar were considered the following topics: - Methods and technique of making political, economic and social situation analysis (taking into account gender balance); - Politics and gender stereotypes; - Mass media and gender; - Pre-election situation and the use of gender stereotypes; - Culture of giving interview. Participants of the training evaluated the carried work: Manana Tediashvili (a member of the local self-government in Abasha) – “The thematic and methods of analysis, discussed during the course were very interesting. I think it is very important when women who are already in politics - members of local self-government in different regions, chairpersons of different commissions - gather together. Most important is the fact that these women were given the opportunity to become acquainted with each other, share experiences and gain a lot of information that may be useful for them in their further work”. Daredzhan Tkhvitariya (a chairperson of the Commission on Social Issues of the local self-government in Poti) – “We have deepen our knowledge more. I hope that these trainings will be continued. I would like to express my gratitude to Fund “Sukhumi” for the implementation of such an initiative”.
