A generation of parents and children ... What is their view on peacemaking? What do they think of the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict? - These issues were discussed at the round table in the office of fund “Sukhumi”. Women who have travelled to Abkhazia many times with the support of fund “Sukhumi”, told about their relations with Abkhazians. The two generations expressed their views on peacebuilding and elaborated proposals. During the meeting it became clear how enormous is experience of the elder generation in peacemaking. - The elders have experience of communication with the Abkhazians, which gives us the opportunity to think about the future relationship. The youth should study everything regarding Abkhazia in details for the peaceful resolution of the conflict, - such was the view of the young participants of the round table. Representatives of the elder generation mentioned: - Today's meeting has shown us how warm attitude Georgian young people have towards their Abkhaz peers. And we’ve convinced once again that a peaceful future is in their hands.
