On November 19-21 there was conducted a training in Istanbul, organized by International Alert (Great Britain) with the participation of the representatives of Fund "Sukhumi” and Association of Women of Abkhazia. The thematic of the training included interesting issues about strategy of research and monitoring taking into account gender aspect. How far are interconnected peace, justice, development and gender equality; how far necessary is the gender sensitive attitude for their sustainability; why do we need gender analysis as a mean of revealing of power and making influence on it; how is the essence of gender sensitive indicators defined? Different methods of work made the training thematic interesting and easily perceptible what would give us possibility to use the gained experience in our further activity.
