Cultural-Humanitarian Fund "Sukhumi”

Six months have passed since the day of decease of one of the founders of Fund “Sukhumi” Zhanna Chabukiani. On the memorial day arranged by Fund “Sukhumi” gathered members of her family and close friends.

Chairperson of Fund Alla Gamakharia could not talk about Mrs. Zhanna without tears in her eyes. The same was for other speakers.

-         She was special, always taking care of and supporting other.

-         Any work she did was done with special faith.

-         She liked to work with the youth. She wanted them to inspire love for Abkhazia.

Every speech stressed particular personal qualities of Mrs. Zhanna Chabukiani.

During the Memorial Day there was showed a documentary film made by Fund “Sukhumi”, which told about recent years of her life.

-         Zhanna’s name is connected with the foundation of Fund “Sukhumi”. As long as Fund exists, she will always be close to us as supporter of our progress and achievements, - mentioned co-chairperson of Fund “Sukhumi” Meri Gelashvili.

Under the decision of the Board of Fund “Sukhumi” the Club of young women “Abkhazia – want to know everything” was named after the founder of the Club Mrs. Zhanna Chabukiani.
