Girls-leaders of Fund "Sukhumi” conducted regular workshops in Kutaisi and Senaki on the topic: "Women’s role in conflict resolution and in the process of peacebuilding”. Meetings revealed negative attitude of girls IDPs to any form of violence and their striving for peaceful coexistence of the two peoples. - We heard much from our parents that since ancient times Georgians and Abkhazians lived together as one family. Of course the war destroyed everything but despite it relations between peoples which were built for centuries should be restored, - told the girls. Participants of the workshop mentioned that peace is needed for everyone despite gender and nationality, that’s why each of us should make all efforts to build peace.
