Cultural-Humanitarian Fund "Sukhumi”

Young women-leaders of Fund “Sukhumi” carried out a workshop on the topic “Tolerance and peaceful coexistence – broken by hatred is built by love” in the musical school of Senaki. Participants of the workshop were girls IDPs as well as locals aged 16-26.

Participants showed great interest to the topic of Abkhazia and expressed willingness to establish relations with Abkhaz peers:

-                     It would be good if we have possibility to meet and talk to them. I believe that we’ll find common language.

-                     If young people are tolerant they would be able to make significant contribution to the popularization of peace, to restore the destroyed by the war with love, mutual understanding and respect. We should show our peers that we want not hatred but friendship and peaceful coexistence with them.

The participants emphasized Internet contacts. They mentioned that such contacts will assist rebuilding and strengthening of kinship relations between Abkhazians and Georgians.
