In the hall of the City Council of Poti city there was held a regular meeting of the Club of Women-Voters. During active discussion members of the Club discussed women’s role in politics and necessity of gender equality. In the opinion of a leader of the Club Sopho Bilikhodze, number of women in politics should be increased. They should hold first positions in party lists. A representative of Fund "Sukhumi” Miranda Gvantseladze acquainted members of the Club with the information on how far active are women in different political parties and what kind of activity they do. During the meeting there was showed the documentary film made by Fund "Sukhumi” – "Difficult choice – woman in politics”. |
